SNICKER, SUGAR COOKIE, DOODLES 
1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 med. eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cream of tartar

Cream the first 4 ingredients. Mix in the last 4 ingredients. Refrigerate for approximately one hour. Form into small balls and roll in white sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes.
