2 sticks butter
2/3 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour

Mix the ingredients in order listed above. Bake at 400 degrees until outside edges are lightly browned (approximately 5 minutes).

FROSTING:

1 1/2-2 c. confectioners' sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Milk at desired amount
Food coloring (your color choice)

Combine sugar, butter and vanilla; add milk as needed until desired spreading consistency. Add food coloring as desired.
