CROCK POT VENISON STEW 
3 carrots
5 potatoes
2 lb. meat, in 1 1/2 inch cubes
1 c. water
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 clove garlic
1 bay leaf
1 stalk celery
3 onions, quartered
1/2 tsp. pepper
Salt to taste
1 tsp. paprika

Put all ingredients into crock pot. Stir to blend spices. Cook on low for 10 to 12 hours or on high for 5 to 6 hours.

Good basic venison stew. I marinated the meat cubes the night before in red wine, the spices, a little olive oil and red wine vinegar. Gave it an extra kick of flavor. Added the marinade to the cooking pot.

Fabulous recipe, that's simple and easy to make, to use up your venison stew meat. It was a once a month go to recipe that was requested last year. I used a can of diced tomatoes if I didn't have cherry tomatoes.
