QUICK EASY ROLLS 
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. Crisco
1 tbsp. salt
1 c. hot water
2 pkgs. dry yeast
1 egg
3/4 c. warm water
4 or 5 c. flour

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix sugar, shortening and salt with hot water. Beat egg well and add to sugar mixture. Dissolve yeast in warm water and let stand a couple of minutes, then add to the above mixture. Add flour, knead and make into rolls. Brush top with butter and bake until done, 8 to 10 minutes.
