QUICK `N EASY BATTER ROLLS | |
4 1/2 c. flour 2 pkg. yeast, dry 1 1/4 c. very warm water 1/2 c. dry milk 1/4 c. sugar 1/2 c. soft butter 1 egg 1 tsp. salt Dissolve yeast in water in large bowl. Add 1/2 of flour, milk, sugar, butter, egg and salt. Beat 2 minutes. Stir in rest of the flour. Cover with a towel. Rise until double in size. Stir down. Spoon into 18-24 well greased muffin tins, filling 1/2-2/3 full. Cover and let rise until double again. Bake in 400 degree oven for 12-15 minutes or until brown. Brush with butter. Cool on a rack. |
