RUM CAKE 
1 box yellow cake mix
4 eggs
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. light rum
1/2 c. cooking oil
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 sm. box instant vanilla pudding (if there isn't pudding in cake mix)

Mix for 2 minutes on high speed. Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 350 degrees for about 1 hour. (I start checking at 40-45 minutes for doneness.) When cake is done prick top with fork. Spoon hot glaze over hot cake (leave cake in pan).

GLAZE:

1 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1/4 c. water

Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and add 1 tablespoon rum. Spoon over cake. Cool completely and remove from pan.
