MARY'S APPLE BROWNIES 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
dash nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. oil
3 c. shredded apples
1 c. nuts, chopped (optional)

Mix all dry ingredients together. Beat in eggs and oil. Add apple and nuts and blend well. Pour into a lightly oiled and floured baking pan.

Bake at 350°F for approximately 35 minutes or until golden brown on top.
