ONE POT BOILED DINNER 
8 beef short ribs
1 head cabbage
1 bag carrots
2 med. onions
6-8 med. potatoes

Boil ribs in large pan with water for about 1 1/2hours on medium heat. Add salt, pepper, garlic salt, 3 or 4 bay leaves to meat. Add other 4 vegetables, quarter, potatoes, and cabbage, ending with cabbage on top. Salt and pepper all vegetables to taste. Cover and simmer until all are tender.
