TWINKIE CAKE 
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
5 rounded tbsp. flour
1 c. water
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. Crisco
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix and bake cake mix according to directions. Bake in jelly roll pan and cool.

FILLING: Cook flour and water until thick; cool completely. Add sugar, butter, shortening, salt, and vanilla. Mix on high until like whipped cream. Cut cake in half. Spread filling on one half and top with other half. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Very good.
