CRESCENT CASSEROLE | |
2 lbs. ground beef 1/4 c. chopped onion 1/4 c. mushroom pieces 3 tsp. soy sauce 2 tsp. celery seed 1 tbsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. pepper 1 c. sour cream 1 (8 oz.) can crescent rolls 1 1/2 c. chopped broccoli 4 strips bacon, crisp 6 slices American cheese Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Brown beef in large skillet with onion and mushrooms; drain. Stir in soy sauce, celery seed, garlic, salt, pepper, and sour cream. Separate crescent roll dough into 2 large triangles. Press into bottom of ungreased 9 x 13 inch casserole so that half of the dough extends up the side of the pan to form a crust. Spoon meat mixture into crust and place chopped, cooked broccoli on top. Crumble crisp bacon over broccoli. Top with cheese sauce. Bake until crust is brown. |
