SWEET PICKLE STICKS 
Wash and cut 5 inch cucumber into sticks. Pour boiling water over them and let stand overnight. Pack tightly into jars.

MAKE SYRUP:

3 3/4 c. vinegar
3 c. sugar
3 tbsp. salt
4 1/2 tsp. celery seed
2 tsp. turmeric
3/4 tsp. mustard seed

Boil 5 minutes. Pour over cucumbers. Cap. Place in pressure cooker. Heat to 5 pounds. Turn off heat. Remove when canner is cool. Makes about 8 pints.
