RICE PILAF 
1/2 stick butter
1 c. noodles (or spaghetti, broken into sm. pieces)
1 c. instant rice
1 can chicken broth

Melt butter in saucepan. Add noodles, stirring until noodles brown. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add rice, reduce heat to low, and simmer 5 minutes. Mushrooms, chopped green pepper or shredded carrots may be added. Serves 4-6.
