CREAM CHEESE COOKIES 
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. butter, softened
1 c. Bisquick baking mix
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease square pan 8x8x2 inches. Beat brown sugar and butter until fluffy. Stir in baking mix and walnuts until mixture is crumbly, reserve 1 cup. Press remaining mixture in pan.

Mix cream cheese mixture and granulated sugar; beat in remaining ingredients until smooth. Spread cream cheese mixture over layer in pan. Sprinkle with reserved crumbly mixture. Bake until center is firm, about 25 minutes. Cut into 2 inch squares. Refrigerate. (16 cookies)
