ROAST BRISKET 
Up to 7 lbs. brisket (double recipe for over 7 lbs.)
Salt
Pepper
Garlic salt or garlic powder
Flour
Oil

Season meat with seasonings. Coat with flour and sear in oil in a Dutch oven. Cover with sauce: 2 tsp. prepared mustard 2 tbsp. 1890 salad dressing 2 tsp. soy sauce 1 can consomme, diluted with 1/2 can water 1/4 c. brown sugar Few drops Worcestershire sauce 1 lg. onion, diced

Combine ingredients and pour over seared meat. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour uncovered. Then lower heat to 300 degrees and cover tightly. Bake an additional 2 1/2 to 3 hours. (Larger roasts do not require double baking time -- only double sauce ingredients.) To freeze, separate sauce from the meat.
