6 tbsp. butter
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk
2 c. sliced peaches
1 c. sugar

Melt 6 tablespoons butter in a 2 quart casserole. Combine sugar, flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in milk and mix well. Pour batter over butter in casserole, but do not mix together. Combine peaches and sugar, then spoon them over the batter and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
