RAISIN PUDDING 
SAUCE:

1 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. butter
2 c. boiling water

Mix and pour butter and sugar into boiling water.

CAKE BATTER:

3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. milk
1 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. nuts
3/4 c. raisins

Mix together cake batter ingredients; mix well. Pour batter into pan; pour sauce over all. Put pan into pan of water. Bake at 350 degrees until done, about 3/4 hour.
