RICE PUDDING WITH RAISINS | |
2/3 c. Minute Rice 1/8 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. vanilla 1/4 c. sugar 1/2 c. raisins 2 1/2 c. milk Bring together to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently. Turn heat to low and cook 20 minutes, stirring frequently. Beat 1 egg yolk with 2 tablespoons milk. Slowly add to the hot rice, stirring rapidly. Remove from heat. It will thicken as it sets. Serve warm. |
