PURPLE SLAW 
1 med. purple cabbage
1 lg. onion
4 celery sticks
1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. vinegar
4 tbsp. vegetable oil

Slice onion in food processor. Let stand in 2 teaspoons salt until soft. Then squeeze. Slice cabbage and celery sticks. Combine with sugar, salt and vinegar mixture which has been dissolved and with onion. Add oil last. Toss well. Refrigerate several hours.
