RAISIN BRUNCH CAKE 
1 c. raisins
1 c. water
1/2 c. salad oil
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 3/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 c. nut meats, chopped

Combine raisins and water. Bring to a boil. Add salad oil and cool. Add sugar, egg and dry ingredients. Pour into tube pan that has been greased and floured. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until done.
