BECKY'S THANK YOU DESSERT | |
Cream 1 cup butter and 1 cup sugar. Add 2 eggs, one at a time. Stir in 2 cups flour and 1 teaspoon salt. Add 1 cup chopped nuts and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spread all but 1/2 cup dough in ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan. Pour 1 can of Thank You pie filling on top (I use cherry). Drop rest of dough by spoonfuls over top. Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Can be cut into small squares and eaten as bar cookies or eat warm with milk on top like cobbler. |
