COUNTRY FRIED STEAK 
Cube steak 1 or 2 per serving, flour, salt and pepper to taste. Dip steak in flour and brown well in hot oil. Remove steaks to a plate, steaks need not be done at this point. Remove all but approximately 1/4 cup to 1/3 cup of oil. Add flour to make base for gravy. Add milk or other liquid to make a very thin gravy, return steaks to gravy and simmer 20 minutes. Spoon gravy over steaks often and serve with mashed potatoes, vegetable and salad.
