STEAMED BROWN BREAD 
1 c. rye flour
1 c. cornmeal
1 c. whole wheat flour
3/4 c. molasses
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. buttermilk

Mix dry ingredients. Stir in milk and molasses. Beat well. Fill greased molds 2/3 full. Lay wax paper over the top. Steam 3 hours, 350 degree oven.
