SOUR CREAM COFFEE CAKE 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 c. flour
4 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 c. cultured sour cream
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time; beat well. Add dry ingredients, sour cream, and vanilla. Pour half of the batter into a buttered 9 x 9 inch baking dish. Cover with half of the topping. Pour in the rest of the batter. Cover with the rest of the topping.

TOPPING:

2/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. pecans, chopped

Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes.
