B'S CHINESE COLESLAW SALAD 
When every we have family gatherings, I am asked to bring this salad. My Hubby does not like cabbage at all, but will eat this. I make extra of the caramelized almonds for snacking, because you will be tempted to nibble. Plus they can be used as a topping for other things.

SALAD DRESSING:

2 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. vinegar
1/3 cup oil
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 Ramen noodle seasoning packet

Stir dressing to dissolve sugar, refrigerate until just before serving.

CARAMELIZED ALMONDS:

1/4 cup sliced almonds
2 tbsp. sugar

Stir over low heat in frying pan until sugar slightly melts, DO NOT BURN. Allow to cool.

SALAD:

1 lb. pkg. coleslaw mix
3-4 green onions, chopped
2 pkgs. chicken Ramen noodles, crushed
1 (10 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained
1/4 cup caramelized sliced almonds

Mix all ingredients together before serving. Pour chilled dressing over top.
