SCOTCH SCONES 
Bread dough
Butter

When you are baking bread and it is ready for the oven, cut off a hunk for scones. Pinch off a piece about the size of a large egg. Pat and pull the dough until it looks like a pancake. Put 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet. When it is sizzling, place the scones in and fry until golden brown.

This was my mother's recipe and my mouth waters just thinking about it.
