GREEN BEANS WITH BROWNED BUTTER
AND BALSAMIC VINEGAR
 
3 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
Salt and freshly ground pepper
1 1/2 lbs. string beans, trimmd

Combine butter, vinegar, salt and pepper in heavy medium skillet over medium heat. Cook until mixture begins to brown, stirring constantly, about 4 minutes. Blanch beans in large pot of boiling water until crisp tender, about 5 minutes. Drain in colander. Transfer to serving dish. Spoon browned butter mixture over beans and serve.
