BAR-B-Q BRISKET | |
3-4 lbs. boneless brisket 1 tsp. salt 1-2 tsp. black pepper 2 tsp. celery seed or flakes 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 2 tsp. liquid smoke 1 tsp. garlic salt 1 c. barbecue sauce Mix together seasonings. Spread mixture over meat. Wrap in heavy foil. Refrigerate overnight. When ready to cook, add barbecue sauce. Close tightly and place in baking dish. Bake 4 hours at 300 degrees. Do not undercook. Open foil and cook last 1/4 hour. Baste with sauce. Slice across grain after cooling slightly. |
