HAZEL NUT COOKIES 
1 3/4 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. hazel nuts, chopped
2 eggs
2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift together flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Mix with hazel nuts, beat eggs until light, gradually beat in sugar. Add vanilla, blend in flour mix. Chill thoroughly about 2 hours. Shape into small balls about 1 inch. Place on cookie sheet and bake in slow oven 15 minutes at 325 degrees. Makes about 75 cookies.
