TEXAS BROWNIES 
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
2 sticks butter
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
2 beaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda

Bring to boil cocoa, water, and butter. Cool and mix with cocoa mixture flour, salt, and sugar. Then add and mix remaining ingredients. Batter will be somewhat thin. Bake in greased brownie or jelly roll pan for 20 minutes at 400 degrees.

TOPPING:

1 stick melted butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
3 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
6 tbsp. milk

Spread topping ingredients over brownie while warm. Sprinkle with nuts if desired.
