TEXAS FUDGE BROWNIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. water
4 tbsp. cocoa
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream

Bring to a boil the water, butter and cocoa; stirring constantly. butter should be melted.

Add cocoa mixture to flour, sugar, salt, soda and vanilla. Mix well. Beat in eggs and sour cream. Pour into greased 11 x 17 inch pan with sides. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until center springs back when lightly touched.

FROSTING:

1/4 c. butter
2 tsp. cocoa
3 tsp. milk
2 c. confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Melt butter in small pan. Add cocoa and milk. Mix well. Remove from heat. Add powdered sugar. Whisk to remove lumps. Stir in nuts. Spread frosting on warm brownies. Makes at least 2 dozen. These are delicious brownies!
