LIME JELLO SALAD 
3 (3 oz.) pkgs. lime Jello
2 c. hot water
2 c. cottage cheese
1 (14 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice
2 c. heavy cream, whipped

Or can use 4 cups Cool Whip.

Dissolve Jello in hot water, refrigerate until it starts to thicken, then add the pineapple and juice and cottage cheese. Then fold in the whipped cream or Cool Whip and chill. This is a favorite recipe for our Christmas dinner. Decorate top with red maraschino cherries halved. Makes it pretty for Christmas time.

Can use strawberry Jello and strawberries (eliminate cherries in this one) in place of lime Jello and pineapple.
