LEMON SQUARES 
1/3 c. butter
1/3 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. sugar
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. lemon juice

Cream butter and brown sugar. Add flour and nuts to make crumbs. Press 2/3 of crumb mixture into pan and bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Meanwhile, blend sugar and cream cheese until smooth. Add egg, vanilla, and lemon juice and mix well. Spread over baked crust, sprinkle with rest of crumb mixture and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes more.
