SWEET PICKLES 
3/4 c. vinegar
1 3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1 qt. dill pickles

Mix together the vinegar, sugar and celery seed and bring to a boil. Drain the liquid from the dill pickles. Fill the jar of pickles with water and let stand for 1 hour. Drain and cut the pickles into 1/4-inch slices. Pour the hot liquid over the pickles.
