POTATO PUFFS 
2 tbsp. melted Crisco
2 eggs, well beaten
2 c. mashed potatoes

Add 3 or 4 slices chopped cooked bacon or
1/2 c. grated cheese

Mix Crisco with potatoes. Add eggs. Beat together thoroughly. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Drop by spoonfuls in deep fryer. Heated to 375 to 385 degrees or hot enough to brown an inch cube of bread in 40 seconds and fry until golden brown, about a minute.

Serves about 6 to 8 people.
