VERY SWEET PICKLES 
1 qt. whole dill pickles

Slice pickle 1/4" or to make it more simple, buy 1 quart of hamburger dill slices.

Drain the juice from pickles, then flush good with water. Pack pickles in jar and fill with water and let stand for 24 hours.

Next day, drain the water, make syrup and pour over the sliced pickles in jar.

Let stand for 24 hours. Pickles will be crisp and sweet.

Make syrup as follows: 12 whole cloves 1 stick cinnamon, broken 1 tsp. celery seed 1 c. apple cider vinegar

Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 4 minutes only, stirring constantly.
