POT ROAST 
3 lb. chuck or rump
2 tbsp. oil or Crisco
1 lg. onion, sliced
1/2 c. dry red wine or water
1/4 c. water
2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 can cream of mushroom soup

Brown meat on both sides in Dutch oven or large fry pan. I use electric fry pan. Stir in rest of ingredients. Cover tightly. Simmer 2 1/2 to 3 hours until tender.
