TUNA CASSEROLE | |
8 oz. noodles 2/3 c. milk 1 (6 1/2 oz.) can of tuna 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of celery soup 1 914 1/2 oz.) can of peas Approximately 1/2 c. crushed soda or Ritz crackers Vegetable spray 1 tbsp. butter Dash of salt and pepper 1 tsp. minced onion (optional) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix soup, mushrooms (drained), milk, and onions in a saucepan and heat through. Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain peas. Drain and flake tuna. Add peas and tuna to cooked, and drained noodles. Salt and pepper to taste. Mix soup mixture with noodles, peas and tuna. Pour into a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish that has been sprayed with vegetable spray. Top with crushed crackers and dot with butter for flavor. Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes until heated through. Crackers should be brown. |
