GINGER SNAP COOKIES | |
3/4 c. shortening 1 c. sugar 1/4 c. molasses 1 egg 2 c. plain flour 2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. cloves 1 tsp. ginger 1/4 tsp. salt Cream shortening and sugar, add molasses and egg, beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients and mix. Roll into marble size balls and dip in sugar. Place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. Makes 4 dozen cookies. |
