ROSE'S CORN BREAD | |
1 c. corn meal 1 c. flour 4 tbsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 3 tbsp. shortening 1 beaten egg 2 tsp. baking powder 1 c. milk Mix corn meal, flour, sugar, and baking powder in a bowl; cut in shortening. Add egg and milk and mix thoroughly. Pour into buttered and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. |
