OLD TIME BREAD PUDDING 
4 slices buttered toast (quartered)
1/2 c. raisins
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
2 c. milk, hot
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
4 tbsp. sugar

Place toast in greased 1 1/4 quart baking dish and sprinkle with raisins. Combine eggs, the 1/2 cup sugar, salt, milk and vanilla and pour over toast. Let stand 10 minutes. Sprinkle with the 4 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon. Bake for 30 minutes at 350.
