TURTLE CAKE | |
1 box German chocolate cake mix with pudding 2 sticks butter 1 can Eagle Brand milk 1 c. chocolate chips, milk chocolate 1 pkg. light colored caramels 1 c. pecan pieces Mix cake as directed on box, divide in half. Add 1 stick butter and half milk to half cake mix. Pour in well greased 9 x 13 inch sheet pan. Bake for 35 minutes. Melt caramels with 1 stick butter and 1/2 milk. Pour onto hot cake. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts. Pour remaining cake batter on to cake. Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 300 degrees. Frost if desired or serve with ice cream. |
