TATER TOT HOT DISH 
2 lbs. tater tots
1/2 lb. American cheese or Cheddar
4 c. chicken, diced

Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan; put in layer of tater tots, layer of chicken, and top with grated cheese. Pour the following white sauce over top:

6 tbsp. flour
6 tbsp. butter
3 c. milk
Salt & pepper
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/4 c. onion, minced

Cook flour, butter and milk together. After it thickens, add soup and onion. Can be assembled the day before and kept in refrigerator. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Serves 8.
