OVEN BEEF STEW 
2 lbs. stew meat
1 green pepper
5 med. potatoes
3 med. onions
5 carrots
1 1/2 tsp. salt
Several sticks of celery
3 heaping tsp. tapioca
1 tsp. sugar
1 lg. can tomatoes

Cut in small pieces first 6 ingredients, combine in large pot. Sprinkle tapioca and sugar over and mix well. Cover and bake for 5 hours at 250 degrees. Do Not remove lid during baking time. This does well in crock pot cooking 8 hours at low temperature or 4 hours on high.
