BEEF STEW IN THE OVEN 
1 1/2 lbs. boneless round
5 med. potatoes
2 c. cut carrots
1 c. onion
1 c. celery, 1/2 inch pieces
2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans tomatoes
2 tbsp. quick cooking tapioca
1 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Put into casserole and cover. Bake at 275 degrees for 5 hours. Makes 6 servings.
