SURPRISE PUMPKIN PIE 
Pastry dough for 9 inch pie
1/4 c. finely chopped pecans
1 (30 oz.) can pumpkin (OR) 3 2/3 c. fresh cooked pumpkin
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 egg

Heat oven to 375 degrees. If scratch pastry, add pecans to dough ingredients. If using pre-made shell, press nuts into shell after you have placed in tin. Blend egg, pumpkin and condensed milk, pour mixture into the shell; sprinkle streusel on pie and bake for 50-55 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool. Chill.

STREUSEL TOPPING:

1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/4 c. firm butter
