SAUSAGE AND RICE CASSEROLE | |
1 c. uncooked regular rice 2 c. sliced carrots 1 c. chopped celery 1/2 c. chopped bell pepper 1 lg. onion, chopped 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth 1/4 c. water 1 lb. sausage Cook and drain sausage. Spread rice evenly in buttered 3 quart casserole dish. Spoon vegetables over rice. Pour broth and water over vegetables. Add sausage. Cover, bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove, stir, cover, bake 30 minutes. |
