SAUSAGE CASSEROLE 
1 c. rice, uncooked
2 c. chopped carrots
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 can chicken broth (14 oz.)
1/4 c. water
1 lb. ground sausage

Lightly grease a 3 quart casserole dish. Spread rice then top with the vegetables in layers. Pour broth and water over this. Brown sausage and drain. Spoon over vegetables. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Garnish with mushrooms.
