HAWAIIAN CREMES 
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. crushed pineapples, drained
1 c. cream
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 c. walnuts or pecans
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugars, pineapple and cream in saucepan; cook to soft ball stage, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; add butter, ginger, walnuts and vanilla. Beat until creamy; pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Cut into squares while warm.
