SPICY PECANS 
Combine following in a 3 quart casserole dish:

2 c. sugar
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 c. water

Cover and microwave on high power for 4 minutes. Stir well. Cover and microwave on high power 2 1/2 to 4 1/2 minutes until mixture reaches soft ball stage.

Add 4 cups pecan halves and stir until halves are well coated. Spread on waxed paper and separate pecan halves with a fork. Cool completely and store in an airtight container.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
