1 1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. water
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ground clove
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. pecan halves

Combine all ingredients except pecans. Boil until syrup will spin a thread. Pour in pecans and stir constantly until syrup begins to harden. Spread and separate on waxed paper. Allow to cool.
